CURRICULUM VITAE

One of the world’s top esthetic dental ceramists, Samuel C. Lee, CDT, MDC, started his career in Seoul, Korea in 1978. In 1986, he founded his own dental studio in Southern California. Since then, he graduated from the UCLA Master Dental Ceramic Post Graduate Residency Program in 2001 and became an adjunct faculty member for UCLA. He has studied and trained under masters such as Klaus Muterthies, Dr. Ed McLaren, and Claude Seiber. Sam is a member of the Art Oral Society, has served as a technical advisor for several companies, and has published articles for renowned dental magazines such as QDT Yearbook. He was also awarded at the 2005 Nobel Biocare World Conference. He is also a frequent lecturer at numerous dental conferences around the world. By uniting his Asian sensibilities and culture, European training, and Californian style and experience, Sam developed his unique concept of esthetic restorations: the California Smile. His professional philosophy The Emotion of Excellence is to not only produce a successful restoration, but to instill self-confidence and satisfaction.
